I specialise in grant writing and prospect research. I offer a broad range of fundraising expertise, from bids to major funding bodies such as Arts Council England, Youth Music, the National Lottery and Children in Need, to applications to trusts and foundations.
I’m passionate about working collaboratively with change makers and social entrepreneurs. As a freelance consultant I’ve had the opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients including mental health charities, theatre and opera companies, arts festivals, orchestras, heritage organisations, youth projects, active travel organisations and sustainable enterprises.
The projects I’ve worked on have varied from music workshops for young people with autism and projects with refugee communities to the installation of central heating for a community centre. I’m especially interested in the transformational role the arts can have in supporting mental health and wellbeing. Being a keen cyclist I’m also a champion of active travel and sustainability.
I have a background in arts fundraising having worked on the Ashmolean Museum’s £25m endowment campaign, part of the University of Oxford’s £3.3 billion Oxford Thinking Campaign. I’ve also held roles at the Victoria & Albert Museum, the Bodleian Library and Modern Art Oxford.
I hold a BA in History of Art from the University of Bristol. I am a member of the Institute of Fundraising and of the Philanthropy Company Network. As a busy mum of two I unwind by exploring country lanes on my road bike, doing some yoga or curling up with a good book.
